Deontay Wilder is willing to leave America, says promoter Lou DiBella

The American dismissed an offer to defend his WBC heavyweight belt against Dillian Whyte this week, but the ‘Bronze Bomber’ has also been targeted by Tony Bellew.

A huge unification clash with Anthony Joshua is unlikely to take place until next year at the earliest, with ‘AJ’ set to face Wladimir Klitschko in a rematch before a mandatory IBF title defence against Kubrat Pulev.

Wilder must also fulfil a mandatory title defence with Bermane Stiverne, but promoter DiBella insists the unbeaten 31-year-old would always consider a lucrative fight on foreign soil.

“For a major fight or the right opportunity, Deontay has no hesitation to travel as he proved when he was on his way to Russia,” said DiBella
