UFC star Conor McGregor wants to avenge his loss against the undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. which took place on August 26th 2017 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Nevada.

McGregor is extremely confident that this time he would win if Mayweather gave him the chance to fight. However Mayweather guaranteed that he would retire and not fight again after beating McGregor last August.

“If I got another go I would beat him,” said McGregor to Sky Sports News. “It’s a style of fighting that caught me off guard because he never fights like that. I did not prepare or anticipate it. Ultimately it got him the win. Much respect to him but it is what it is.”

During a post fight interview with McGregor in August he said that Mayweather was calm and compused and that is how he won. McGregor claims he didn’t train for this style of fighting, so he didn’t know how to handle it. McGregor tried to fight Mayweather off, but he ended up exhausting himself by throwing a lot of punches.

Is McGregor looking for another big pay day or is he serious about Boxing. Former 2 division world champion boxer Paulie Malignaggi has offered to fight McGregor inside the boxing ring, but it’s unlikely that fight will happen as McGregor has shown no interest. Therefore he is either after another big pay day or he is truly serious about avenging his loss just like he was against Nate Diaz.
