Kubrat Pulev is the mandatory challenger for the IBF Heavyweight belt and Joshua has until December 2 to face him.

Pulev updated his fans on facebook about the fight saying, “There won’t be much hugs we’ll just box”. He also added “Anthony Joshua is a great and dangerous rival. But his style fits perfectly on mine”

Pulev seems confident that he will win against Joshua “I’ll be completely ready when I get in the ring. So he doesn’t stand a chance against me”

Pulev is one of his native Bulgaria’s most popular sportsmen, he turned professional at the age of 28 in September 2009, less than a year after winning the European amateur boxing title in Liverpool.

He has held the European heavyweight title twice between 2012 and 2016 and has challenged once for the unified world heavyweight title in 2014, losing to Klitschko in Hamburg on a fifth-round knockout.

Anthony Joshua fought Klitschko in April at Wembley Arena and there were plans for him to have a rematch first with  Klitschko in Las Vegas. However Klitschko decided to retire and now the British Heavyweight champion of the world is looking to defeat Pulev before a big clash with Deontay Wilder possibly next year to unify the Heavyweight division.

Anthony Joshua does not seem to be startled in any way from these comments as he has been posting his workouts on social media and is looking in great shape.
